    RECIPROCATING PUMPS FOR HDD

    Traditionally, horizontal directional drilling professionals have relied upon pumping equipment built for other industries.  It is now possible to buy bentonite pumps designed specifically for HDD.  These new pumps are optimized for flow rates and pressure ranges required in HDD with careful consideration to challenges associated with pumping abrasive bentonite slurries.
